Dr. Lauren Rutter

Dr. Lauren Rutter specializes in evidence-based assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, and related disorders. Lauren works with individuals to effectively navigate stressors, including professional challenges, difficulties in relationships, perfectionism, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is based in research-supported care; she primarily uses cognitive-behavioral therapies with additional attention to acceptance-based strategies. 

Outside of private practice, Lauren is an assistant professor in the department of Psychology at Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) where she teaches and uses digital tools to understand the causes and maintaining factors of anxiety and mood disorders across the lifespan.
