Laura Ferrer PhD

Since coming to finish my training at Harvard Medical School some 25 years ago, I have practiced as a Clinical Psychologist and coach in greater Boston, now through telehealth and an office in Brookline. My internship and postdoctoral fellowships concentrated on Mindfulness- Based Cognitive & Behavioral Treatments of anxiety, mood, eating, and personality disorders, with a special focus on OCD and Hoarding at McLean Hospital, as well as specialized training in DBT and Acceptance strategies.

I enjoy working with individuals and groups, both privately and in workshops and conferences, as well as writing and mentoring. My coaching and therapy work draw from both CBT and Positive Psychology principles, using collaborative coaching principles.

It is my pleasure to help my clients live according to their strengths and values, fostering resilience and well-being in our work together, and to practice these skills in my own life.
