Psychotherapy and Diagnostic Assessments

Life can be messy and at times feel overwhelming. Constant challenges from an ever-changing world may leave you questioning your ability to cope. If this feels familiar, psychotherapy or coaching can help. We use an integrative approach to therapy, with a primary focus on evidence-based therapies including Mindfulness-based CBT, ACT, DBT, and Positive Psychology strategies.

Our clients

We see people ages 10 through adult in individual, family, and group meetings, and for psycho-diagnostic assessments when there’s a need to clarify diagnoses and recommend a course of treatment.

How we work

Whether you meet with us for coaching or therapy, we’ll begin with a brief phone intake to make sure we’re a fit for your needs. We’ll then match you with a clinician or coach, who will meet with you for one or more assessment sessions, taking time to understand your goals and history, and collaborating with you to create a vision for your care.

Flexible care model

Our team works collaboratively, in a way that reflects our various areas of strength and expertise. So, you may choose to do a focused piece of therapy with one of our team members, health or life coaching with another, and couples/family therapy with another over time. After you create an initial plan for care, you’ll have an opportunity to review and update it at regular intervals.

Many of our clients use therapy as part of an integrative approach to health that also may include: yoga or meditation, prayer or faith-based work, medication overseen by a psychiatrist, fitness and nutrition plans, and family or couples work as part of their therapeutic journey.

Payment

We do not participate with insurance panels, so you’ll be responsible for the cost of your care, though we’ll gladly provide you a receipt to use for insurance/HSA submission if you have those benefits. We use a secure online portal for payment and other office paperwork.
